What We Do

We grind trees, scrub, and weeds into mulch on the spot, leaving no burn piles and causing minimal soil disturbance. It’s ideal for the steep slopes, bush blocks, and rural properties of the Huon Valley & Channel areas, helping landholders keep their properties clear, safe, and usable without heavy earthworks.

Some of Our Work

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Forestry mulching is a land-clearing method that grinds trees, scrub, and weeds into mulch on the spot. It leaves no burn piles, minimises soil disturbance, and helps prevent erosion while improving the land’s usability.

  • We handle everything from small lifestyle blocks to large rural and commercial sites. Typical jobs include clearing regrowth and scrub, creating firebreaks, preparing orchards and vineyards, tidying fence lines, and making tracks accessible again.

  • Costs vary depending on the size of the job, the terrain, and the type of vegetation. When you make an enquiry, we go through a scoping and estimating process to outline the likely costs involved in your job so you know what to expect.

  • Yes. While we primarily work within the Huon Valley including Franklin, Cygnet, Geeveston, Dover, Crabtree, Mountain River, Grove, Lucaston and more, we also service other areas in Southern Tasmania. If you’re not sure, just ask.

  • All vegetation is mulched back into the ground on-site. This means no messy burn piles, no carting away, and the mulch left behind helps control erosion, suppress regrowth, and enrich the soil.
